What is a propane bobtail?
A bobtail is a straight truck, not a tractor-trailer, with a pressure tank mounted on the chassis for delivering propane to homes and businesses. Typical bobtail tanks run from about 2,000 to 5,000 gallons of water capacity. A propane transport is the trailer version used for bulk moves.
